Peter James Development & Independent Living, Inc. is committed to doing all that we can to support our clients during this stressful and unforseen time. We are here to  help you manage your mental, emotional health and well-being through  office visits that adhere to current safety protocols and via teletherapy.

With the spread  of COVID-19 in Ohio, the Governor has issued a "Stay at Home" order for  all residents and non-essential businesses. Behavioral Health  Services are considered essential, therefore our office will remain  open.

We offer Teletherapy as a complement to our in-person counseling services. Teletherapy increases access to care by overcoming barriers to services, such as access to reliable transportation, scheduling conflicts, needing to take time off work, etc. Teletherapy services use online videoconferencing technology, much like Skype or FaceTime, to connect individuals to the help they need—anytime, anywhere. Peter James Development & Independent Living, Inc. utilizes a HIPAA-compliant hardware and software platform that meets all state and federal laws and regulations for confidentiality and privacy.
